King Edward VII Academy has successfully achieved the Department for Educational International Schools Award in recognition for its work on promoting the International Dimension in its work and providing a wide range of opportunities for students.  Globalisation means it is vital that every young person’s education is international in its outlook. The global economy is more interdependent than ever.  The academy’s curriculum reflects this.

We have an established partnership with schools and colleges in Boston, USA, Chongqing, China, and Sokoto in Nigeria. Numerous other international trips, often with a study or sports theme, have included visits to Spain, Greece, Italy, France, Poland, USA, Belgium, Germany and Tanzania.
